Outreach Coordinator (Healthy Start)
Job Description
The Healthy Start Outreach Coordinator leads community outreach and engagement efforts to promote Healthy Start services, recruit participants, and build strong partnerships in high-need and underserved communities. This role educates potential participants, supports enrollment and referrals, collaborates with consortium partners, and assists with culturally appropriate marketing and event promotion. The coordinator also tracks outreach activities and data to support reporting, program performance, and continuous quality improvement.
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of experience in community outreach, public health, social services, or a related field.
An associate or bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, communications, or a related discipline is preferred, along with experience in maternal and child health programs, and work with underserved or high-risk populations.
A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required to operate company vehicles as needed.
