Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
Current RD licensure OR eligible to test for RD/CDR exam

Knowledge of team-based approach to care.
Knowledge and ability to monitor and measure program’s compliance with all applicable policies, funding and billing regulations, and laws.
Conducts compliance audits related to documentation requirements, clinical quality, and program licensing regulations, and accurately report findings.
Assess the need for staff/clinical training and provide effective training sessions.
Knowledge and ability to monitor all aspects of quality assurance improvement and to implement plans to further improve quality.
Knowledge and ability to assist and maintain program’s compliance to applicable accreditation standards and implement corrective action plans as necessary.
Maintains professional boundaries and operates within agency/ethical guidelines.
Communicates respectfully and effectively establishes professional relationships through active listening and demonstration of empathy and positive regard.
Knowledge of agency and community resources and referral processes.
Job Duties/Skills Required
Manages all aspects of WIC operations by enforcing state policies and procedures regarding the WIC nutrition program.
Provides supervision, review, assignment of cases, and overall management for the WIC team.
Provides performance data and reports regularly to the Clinical Director/Executive Director.
Plans and implements WIC outreach in the community to promote both WIC and Start Community Health Center services.
Serves as a CPA/Nutrition Educator for WIC program
Assesses BMI, evaluates nutritional status, and identifies nutritional needs.
Provides age-appropriate education and instruction.
Participates in setting treatment plan goals and objectives.
Conducts healthcare screenings and assessments.
Interviews clients, families, etc and completes assessments and other clinical documentation.
Communicates effectively with clinic staff, patients, and families
Enters information into an Electronic Health Record (LAWIN) on all participant assessments in a timely manner.
Consults with facility personnel and administrative field personnel; collects and analyzes data to identify needs for the assigned special services program within a particular service area.
Coordinate resources outside of Start when necessary to meet client needs.
Maintain a clear driving record in order to be able to drive company vehicles when necessary.
Attends all staff meetings as scheduled.
