Janitor (Part time)
Job Description
Start is looking for a part time janitor. Come join our amazing team!
Minimum Requirements
Personal recovery experience
Core Competencies
Communicates respectfully and effectively with peers, staff, and visitors
Safely and effectively uses appropriate tools and cleaners for the specific types of duties
Uses proper body mechanics to prevent injury
Consistently uses warning signs or avoids performing duties when doing so could disrupt or endanger peers or staff
Promptly communicates any concerns to the supervisor or staff
Job Duties/Skills Required
Maintains all janitorial / cleaning requirements of the building including:
Emptying all trash cans
Sweeping and mopping as directed
Cleaning sinks and toilets in bathrooms and in the breakroom
Cleaning baseboards in specific areas
Cleaning window ledges in specific areas
Dusting specific areas
Cleaning breakroom before and after lunch
Ensuring that the janitorial closet is kept tidy and stocked
Cleaning all door knobs and handles with proper sanitizing/cleaning products
Cleaning windows and glass doors as directed
Assists with moving, arranging, or organizing offices or facilities
Assists with loading, pickup and delivery of supplies as needed
