Start Corporation offers individuals with mental, physical, and emotional challenges an opportunity for independence and self-reliance through community-based services that could include comprehensive social skills training and transitional housing for people with chronic mental illnesses, permanent supportive housing for people who are homeless and have mental or physical disabilities, shelter for families with small children who are homeless, and advocacy for people who have a mental illness or physical disabilities. Start Corporation also fosters the development of programs and services that enhance the communities in which we live as a whole.
