WIC CPA (Certified Person of Authority)
Job Description
The WIC CPA screens WIC applicants for eligibility, provides participant centered nutrition counseling and referral services. They completes a nutrition assessment for WIC applicants and prescribes WIC Food packages tailored to participants needs.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutritional Sciences, Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition, or Home Economics with emphasis in Nutrition.
15 hours of Nutrition education required.
Core Competencies
Knowledge of WIC electronic documentation program.
Knowledge and ability to monitor and measure programs compliance with all applicable policies, funding and billing regulations and laws.
Knowledge and ability to to assist in monitoring program's compliance to applicable accreditation standards and implementing corrective action plans as necessary.
