Administrative Assistant (WIC program)
Job Description
Administrative Assistant duties for WIC program. Greets WIC participants to schedule and maintain appointments in a computerized database. Screens applicants for eligibility. Enters data in a computerized database.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Core Competencies
Knowledge of WIC electronic database.
Knowledge and ability to maintain programs compliance with all applicable policies, funding and billing regulations and laws.
Communicates respectfully and effectively and establishes professional relationships through active listening and demonstration of empathy and positive regard.
Promptly and accurately performs clerical duties, and data entry.
Job Duties/Skills Required
Scheduling and maintaining appointments in a computerized database for WIC participants.
Screens for eligibility. Interviews applicants to determine and verify income for the household, and computing the information using electronic software for determination.
